Jesse English is especially interested in veiled or rare states of existence. While pondering mysteries in nature, he forms kinetic sculptures, interactive installations and films that express his awe of life’s diversity. Contemplating ourselves as a development originating out of the same framework as these veiled life-forms, he feels his work is chipping away towards a larger understanding of the transient human condition. This aspect of his work has developed from an internal exploration to a tangible journey.
